The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is currently deploying an anti-narcotics operation in the Delta Amacuro state, which has dealt certain and forceful blows to organizations dedicated to the production and trafficking of drugs, said Defense Minister G/J Vladimir Padrino López.
In a post on his Instagram account, the senior military officer explained that this action has allowed the destruction of shipyards used for the manufacture of boats and semi-submersibles, used for the transfer, by sea, of drugs to Europe and North America.
In the same way, Padrino López indicated that these military actions, in addition to the deployment in Uriapo at the mouth of the Orinoco River, are maintained throughout the national territory to keep Venezuela as a homeland free of drug trafficking, free of drug crops, free of processing, free of trafficking, free of consumption.
“It's part of our daily lives because we abide by our constitutional mandate,” he said.
In addition, the also Sectorial Vice President for Defense and Sovereignty stressed the importance of informing the world about these actions in the light of the threats of imperialism against our country using drug trafficking as an excuse.
“At this juncture of aggression that US imperialism maintains on our homeland, on this specific matter, but it is important that we communicate and know what we are doing... We are still in combat! Nothing and no one stops us! We will win!” , he highlighted.
