FANB destroyed supplies used for illegal mining in Amazonas

Rapid Reaction Units of our Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) detected and destroyed materials used for illegal mining in the state of Amazonas, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a post on his Instagram account, he explained that these materials, found by uniformed personnel while carrying out patrolling and searching tasks, were hidden in a jungle area of the Atabapo municipality, in the Mata Palma sector.

Among the destroyed elements were 600 liters of gasoline; two 13 HP motorbike pumps; a mining raft; two 4” snails; 50 meters of 4” high pressure hose; four 4” PVC plastic tubes; two carpets used as a sieve and 20 meters of black plastic.
