FANB dismantled new illegal mining camp in Amazonas

During patrolling work in the Atabapo municipality of the state of Amazonas, Rapid Reaction Units (URRA) of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and State security forces detected and destroyed a logistics camp of clusters dedicated to illegal mining.

This was reported through his Instagram account by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that at the aforementioned location, a plastic drum with a capacity of 220 liters with gasoline-type fuel, four 13 HP motor pumps, a 2500 W power plant, 400 meters, a 4” high pressure hose, a gasoline stove, an 8” snail, five 20-liter plastic containers with fuel; two 60-liter plastic containers with fuel, 15 bags filled soil and rocks with gold material.

In the aforementioned publication, the senior military official explained that this action is part of Operation Bolivarian Shield Maroa 2025.
