FANB is making progress in implementing the Strategic Modernization Plan

The Territorial Defensive System will be enhanced with unmanned systems and artificial intelligence, said the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Gustavo González López, in an Instagram post.
In the publication, he points out that this initiative is part of the Strategic Plan for the Modernization of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
Remember that González López recently held a meeting integrated into this Modernization Plan with the Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Yván Gil, and other scientific and military authorities in the nation, as published on the Instagram accounts of both ministries.
The modernization scheme is also aimed at strengthening research, innovation and military scientific development. Among the main technologies that were addressed at that meeting, were telecommunications and the weapons systems and operations of the military institution.
“We are moving steadily towards a modern, scientific and sovereign defense,” they said in the publication of the ministries.
