As part of Operation Fog 2025, in the state of Amazonas, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized 2,800 kilograms of narcotic substances.

According to a note from the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), the drug was detected while military personnel were carrying out patrols and scrutiny in the Caño Temi sector, Maroa municipality, where 88 bags of marijuana weighing approximately 2,769 kilograms, as well as 77 kilograms of cocaine, were seized, for a total of 2,846 kilos of drugs.

This procedure, carried out by mixed combat Rapid Reaction Units (URRA), was placed under the command of the Public Ministry.
