Regarding the advances achieved in the national economy and as a topic addressed during an exclusive interview with a Spanish media outlet, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that food consumption in the country registered an increase of close to 10%.

“What was the month of May, a fact, food consumption increased by almost 10%. That makes me very happy, because it is seeing the product, the fruit of our work. And I say that I work, but also that today's sacrifice is the glow of tomorrow,” said the Head of State proudly.

For the National President, this indicator is a tangible sign of the country's recovery and a direct reflection of the collective effort of Venezuelan workers, who have maintained their commitment to productivity.

Rodríguez reiterates that the central objective of his administration is for this process of economic reactivation to be immediately translated into concrete benefits for the population. In this regard, he stressed the importance of continuing to work to improve the real economic income of workers, stating that the fruits of the national effort must be reflected in fundamental areas such as health, education and, above all, in a greater capacity for access to food for Venezuelan families.
