The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, regarding the 72nd anniversary of the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez, assured that the best tribute to the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution is not to give up.

“The best honor for Commander Chávez is that no one here is saddened, no one bows their heads here, here no one surrenders to anyone. This town is rising up in the midst of difficulties in remembering Bolívar and Chávez,” he said.

He also called on the People to remain organized and more aware of what Bolivar and Chávez mean, while noting that it is important to be patient so as not to fall into provocations.

The regional president assured that “Venezuela is still under an economic, criminal blockade” so “from here we raise the flag that we have been raising: an end to unilateral sanctions against Venezuela”.
