FUNVISIS reports 122 earthquakes during the second week of August

The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS) released its weekly balance of earthquake activity corresponding to the period between August 7 and 13, 2026, during which time the Seismological and Tsunami Warning Service recorded a total of 122 earthquakes in the national territory.

In this regard, the agency reminded the population that these phenomena cannot be anticipated, so preparation is the most effective resource for dealing with them, while constant monitoring allows us to understand their evolution.
