The governor of the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, said that the coast of Aragua is not and will not be privatized, given the recent speculations that circulate on social networks about the privatization of the beaches of Cata Bay.

He explained that on the beaches of the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast there is no approval to initiate privatization processes, while clarifying that any misinterpretation on the subject arises due to the lack of an adequate orientation towards the community.

In this regard, the regional president announced that she will establish a Coexistence Law for the entity, with specific rules for the protection of these natural areas. “We will enact our Coexistence Act to govern all the ordinances and principles that citizens must comply with when visiting the beach, in addition to working together on municipal regulations with Mayor Wilmer Leal,” said Sánchez.
