Governor Terán highlighted the commitment of the Militianos de La Guaira in defense of the Homeland

During the swearing in of the Peasant Militia in the parish of Carayaca, the governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, highlighted the commitment of these men and women who decided to voluntarily join the enlistment process in defense of the Homeland.
“The people who inhabit these mountains, those who live in these territories, have organized themselves to produce, but in the face of this situation that the Homeland is experiencing in the face of threat, they have voluntarily assisted these days to enlist in the peasant militia and to be part of the training processes,” said Terán.
The governor reported that for two weeks, government teams linked to the seven transformations have been working in the territory through the Integral Defense Management Body (ODDI), training community militia units. The three commanders of these units were present at the ceremony, as were the fighters who lead the popular bases.
“I want to congratulate this entire town, but also to the public servants who have been sleeping here for two weeks in the tents. We know the real needs and we are meeting them with the support of you my captain (Diodado Cabello) and our president Nicolás Maduro,” he added.
