Grupo Tradiciones de Venezuela brought the wealth of national identity to the José Ávalos camp

The group Tradiciones de Venezuela showed the diversity of national music and dance in the José Ávalos transitory camp, in the parish of El Valle de Caracas, as part of the activities of the Route of Hope.

With members of the artistic group, boys, girls, young people and adults explored musical genres such as the merengue caraqueño, the pasodouble and the joropo llanero, as well as cultural events such as the Dwarves of La Calenda, the Mono de Caicara, the Drums of San Millán and the Calipso del Callao.

Together, these expressions provided a moment of recreation for the people who are in the venue, thanks to the day promoted by the Institute of Performing and Musical Arts (IAEM) together with the Missión Cultura team.

‎En The “José Ávalos” temporary camp shelters about 300 people, who receive comprehensive care and support through a technical and logistical team.

This confluence of forces guarantees the full attention of the people who are in this place after the double earthquake of last June 24.
