(EL ANAQUESE, November 27, 1977)
- Doña Rosa Emilia Hernández, the emblematic mother of a student wrestler, went to the afterlife without knowing the whereabouts of her son Luis Alberto Hernández, who was arrested and disappeared by a SIFA commission, on October 28, 1969.
- It was the first government of Rafael Caldera, when Luis Alberto, a former member of the Revolutionary Party for Nationalist Integration (PRIN), was kidnapped and taken in the trunk of an official car to an anti-guerrilla camp, where he did not arrive alive.
- Along the way, the missing student was tortured to death. He was a first-year student of Sociology and Anthropology at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).
- Luis Alberto was active in Caracas, carrying out social missions, with those affected by the torrential rains in Gramoven. They were victims without any social protection.
- He belonged to a group of friends politically led by Jorge Rodríguez, Elías Eljuri and José Enrique Mierez.
- His father, Salvador Pérez, a telegrapher in Anaco, always hoped that Rafael Caldera would deliver his son safe and sound, but such an idea was a frustrated desire.
- When Ibrahim Hernández, his brother, tried to visit different media outlets to report the disappearance of Luis Alberto, he was subject to surveillance and threats from police officers who were following him closely.
- It was only through a collection, in the corridors of the UCV, that it was possible to publish a referral in El Nacional, where the crime was reported. As far as other judicial and governmental bodies were concerned about their whereabouts, the only response they received was silence.
