Head of State: 90% of Venezuelans reject the aggressions of the US Government

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, assured that the aggressions of the U.S. government managed to awaken the patriotic sentiment of Venezuelans, reaching a support that exceeds 90% in rejection of such attacks.

“The threats they have achieved are a great national consensus, around the defense of the sovereignty and peace of Venezuela, today there is a consensus that encompasses more than ninety percent of the population,” said the Head of State during the broadcast of his program every Monday, Con Maduro+, edition No. 91.

He added that the aggression and the American threat also led to a reduction in support for the extreme right financed by the US Government.

“Here, Leopoldo López, Julio Borges, La Sayona, reduced support for the extreme right to six percent. Practically in the process of disappearing,” said the Head of State.

He assured that the Venezuelan people's repudiation of the United States Government amounts to 93%. “There is a consensus that Venezuela must be left alone, that they do not mess with Venezuela and support for President Maduro, for the revolutionary government, rose above 61%.

“This is the maximum support we have had, this man who is here, Workers' President of Venezuela, since he became president of the country,” he stressed.

In the same way, President Maduro assured that the revolutionary Government today has greater international support from social movements, human rights organizations, organizations that defend the right to peace, governments in Latin America and the Caribbean, peoples of the world that defend peace.
