Head of State celebrated 1st anniversary of the University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the country's scientific community when the 1st anniversary of the National University of Sciences “Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán”, inaugurated on December 12, 2024, was celebrated this Friday.

Through his Telegram channel, the head of state stressed that this house of studies has “beautiful spaces, where Venezuelan science is breathed for training and education at the highest level.”

In this regard, he stated that the 21st century will develop in Venezuela “the true independence of knowledge, which is and will be, increasingly, the liberation of the mind, of education, of culture, of the greatest human instrument ever developed, of the generation of science and technology.”

“We are on the right path in history, where science places the human being, the family, at the center of transformative actions to build a more prosperous and humane humanity,” he said.
