Head of State celebrates 14th anniversary of the Great Housing Mission: Promised word, word fulfilled!

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated this Wednesday the 14th anniversary of the creation of the Great Viva Venezuela Mission (GMVV), a social program devised by Commander Hugo Chávez.

Through his Telegram channel, the head of state pointed out that “talking about habitat is talking about the right to the city, and talking about the right to the city is talking about the right to the family, to recreation, and the Bolivarian Revolution has guaranteed this right, for 14 years, with the creation of the #GranMisiónViviendaVenezuela”.

He stressed that Commander Chávez “managed to turn Venezuela into the only country in the world that has built more quality housing, allowing families to have their own homes and consolidate the nucleus to see their sons and daughters grow; to train, work and forge the Homeland.”

“Promised word, word fulfilled! Rest assured that it will rain, shine or flash, together with the Town we are going to build three million homes to reach the goal of 8 million. It is a challenge that we have taken on and we are going to achieve it,” he emphasized.
