Head of State exalts the revolutionary impetus of Jorge Rodríguez father (+birthday)

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, praised the legacy of the revolutionary leader Jorge Antonio Rodríguez this Friday, commemorating 82 years since his birth.

“Jorge Antonio Rodríguez, popular leader, wise teacher, humble, just, sensitive and combative man by nature. 82 years after his birth, we reaffirm the historical, political and spiritual value of his legacy, convinced that the Fatherland must be fought every day with all our soul,” said the head of state through his account on the social network X.

Born in Carora, Lara state, on February 16, 1942, the father of the cadres of the Bolivarian Revolution Jorge and Delcy Rodríguez, was a prominent Venezuelan student leader. He entered politics to support the country's left-wing forces and on November 19, 1973, he called for the creation of the Socialist League.
