Head of State: “Operation Caribbean 200" consolidates the defense of sovereignty against imperial aggressions

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, accompanied by the Popular Power of the Hugo Chávez Urban Complex in Catia La Mar, highlighted the fundamental role of the people and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the defense of the Homeland against the aggressions of the United States Government.

“In Venezuela, a wonderful process has taken place: enlistment, exercises, operations and right now, in real time, in the Venezuelan Caribbean we are carrying out Operation Caribbean 200 with the FANB carrying out its comprehensive work in the defense of the territory,” he said.

The Head of State emphasized the nation's military capacity, stating that the FANB has carried out an exercise that has attracted global attention. “It has been wonderful how the FANB has carried out an exercise that has surprised the world, the capacity to defend our Homeland, our right to peace, is world news,” said the dignitary.
