Head of State: Venezuela is moving forward with serenity because we have reason and truth on our side

From the Miraflores Palace where he led the meeting of the Council of State of the Nation, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted the institutional strength that exists in Venezuela to legally and constitutionally face the war threats of North American imperialism.

“Here is the country's republican institutions working to guarantee the defense of peace for all Venezuelans,” he said.

He specified that this Council had declared itself in permanent session in order to present a set of proposals to face the current scenario marked by the warlike threats of the United States Government.

“Venezuela is moving forward with serenity because we have reason and truth on our side (...), we are truth and life in a tremendous fight against lies, violence and immorality,” he said.

This meeting was attended by the president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez Gómez; the president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Judge Caryslia Rodríguez; the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), rector Elvis Amoroso and the president of the Citizens Power, Attorney General Tarek William Saab.
