Hinterlaces: 88% of Venezuelans disapprove of coercive measures against the country

A new Monitor-Country study by the polling company Hinterlaces shows key data on Venezuelans' perception of coercive measures in Venezuela.

In this regard, in the latest Hinterlaces report, he specifies that 88% of Venezuelan citizens disapprove of the continuity of economic sanctions and unilateral coercive measures imposed on the country.

Regarding the state of sanctions, 45% believe that only a few have been lifted, 39% say that none have yet been lifted, 4% believe that they have been repealed in their entirety and 12% do not know/do not answer.

68% of respondents believe that the country's economic situation will improve, while 24% believe it will worsen and 8% do not know/do not answer.

It also indicates that 81% believe that if all sanctions and blockades were lifted, the country's economy would improve. In contrast, only 7% believe it would get worse.

Faced with the economic growth driven by the policies of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, 68% of the respondents said that the country's economic situation will improve.

In the national sample survey, 900 interviews were conducted in September 2026, with a margin of error of ± 3.5%.
