The National Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents Autonomous Institute (IDENNA) denied that telephone calls are being made to provide care or assignment for children and adolescents, as well as to request donations.

“The National Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents Autonomous Institute (IDENNA) addresses the national community to categorically warn and deny that this institution is making telephone calls to people to provide care or assignment for children and adolescents, as well as to request donations,” he said in a statement published on his Instagram account.

In this regard, he warned that these “calls constitute an attempt at fraud and manipulation, so we urge citizens in the first instance to ignore these requests and offers, and to report to the competent bodies the telephone numbers for which this crime is being attempted.”

The IDENNA reaffirmed that they do not make informal calls. “Under no circumstances does our institution use unofficial telephone channels to coordinate the delivery, custody or transfer of any child or adolescent,” he stressed.

He also specified that “all family reunification procedures for boys, girls and adolescents are carried out on a mandatory, face-to-face and exclusive basis with their parents or legal representatives, subject to a rigorous verification of identity and legal affiliation.”

They reaffirmed the commitment of the Venezuelan State “to guarantee the comprehensive protection of affected children and adolescents in official centers and shelters.” In addition, they specified that for any information you can contact the telephone number 0424-8930561.
