In Amazonas! FANB dismantled mining camp and apprehended two citizens

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) dismantled an illegal mining camp in the indigenous community of Carida, Atabapo municipality of the state of Amazonas, according to the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

In a post made on his Instagram account, the senior military officer indicated that 1,200 liters of gasoline were found and destroyed in that space; eight 13 HP water suction motors; a 1200 W power plant; six mining snails; a motor impeller; 70 meters of 4” high pressure hose; 24 meters of 4” PVC pipes and three carpets used as a sieve.

In addition, in this action carried out by Rapid Combat Reaction Units (URRA), a Venezuelan citizen and a Colombian citizen who were in this camp were apprehended. Both were placed under the command of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
