In perfect civic-military-police fusion! FANB started exercises to defend our coasts

On the coasts of the states of La Guaira, Miranda, Anzóategui, Falcón, Nueva Esparta, Carabobo, Sucre and Zulia, the deployment of the Costa Independence Defense Exercise 200 began early this Thursday morning.
The deployment began in the Brión municipality of Miranda state, from where military personnel began the deployment in order to increase their operational capacity in the face of threats of aggression against our country by imperialism.
Meanwhile, in the state of Anzoátegui, the maneuvers began in the state of Anzoátegui in the municipalities of Peñalver, Bolívar, Urbaneja, Sotillo and Guanta. From there, the commander of Zodi No. 5, Norbet Torres, led the deployment together with the governor of the entity Luis José Marcano. Both stressed that this exercise makes it possible to strengthen the defense of the coasts of eastern Venezuela.
In Carabobo, olive green men and women were deployed to carry out maneuvers to protect strategic points such as Palma Sola, El Palito refinery, Puerto Cabello-Playa Sonrisa, Playa Waikiki, Puerto de Gañango, Patanemo.
From the Fortín de La Galera, in the state of Nueva Esparta, these exercises were also initiated in order to protect the rights of the people and to defend the island territory against any external threat.
During the exercises, the troops will be deployed in the Boca del Río, El Yaque, La Isleta, Muelle Morro Valdez, Cerro Copei and Castillo San Carlos sectors until they reach the optimal point of preparation.
In Sucre state, 15 coastal defense points and nine observation points were activated in mixed combat units. In Zulia, nine defensive points were established on 179 kilometers of coasts of the Gulf of Venezuela.
Meanwhile, off the coast of Falcón state, members of the FANB were activated in a civic-military-police merger, for the protection of the national territory and the security of the population, within the framework of the Costa Independence Exercise 200.
The purpose of this deployment is to confront and protect constitutional rights that allow for continued free development in the social, economic, military, environmental and technological spheres.
