INAMUJER: Guarantee of rights and protection in Revolution (+anniversary)

On October 25, 1999, Commander Hugo Chávez created the National Institute for Women (INAMUJER).

“Women as an entity, women as a being, women as an essence can only be freed in the midst of a socialist revolution, there is no other way,” Chávez said.

The objective of this institute is to highlight the rights of women in the Homeland, to non-discrimination and gender equality.

This institute, founded in Revolution, offers women of the Homeland the following social programs: 0800-Women, Shelters, Centres for Comprehensive Care and Training for Women; The Fatherland is a Woman; Women's Movement for Peace and Life; Community Defenders and Psychological Care.
