INATUR held seismic prevention workshops for officials in the tourism sector

The National Tourism Institute (INATUR), in partnership with Civil Protection, carried out a cycle of intensive workshops aimed at personnel in the tourism sector, with the purpose of strengthening capacities to respond to a seismic threat.
The training included theoretical and practical content, and included an evacuation drill at the institution's facilities to test established security protocols.
“Each participant is now the multiplier of this knowledge in their respective workspaces and communities,” the institution said.
The initiative is part of the preventive actions being promoted by the tourism sector after the double earthquake of last June 24, based on the principle that continuous preparation constitutes the main tool for protection against natural events.
