International Sports Journalist Day: Passion and dedication at every event

After the founding of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS acronym in French) in 1924, the International Day of the Sports Journalist is celebrated every July 2.

The international celebration of these sports professionals took place during the Olympic Games in Paris, where Uruguay won its first title.

However, in 1995, during the World Congress in Quebec, July 2 was definitively declared as the official day of sports journalists.
