On August 25, 1973, the Jesús Soto Museum of Modern Art was inaugurated, a work designed by the master Carlos Raúl Villanueva located in Ciudad Bolívar, Bolivar state.

Villanueva was able to interrelate covered and open spaces with Soto's works, making a masterful combination of both geniuses.

The museum has seven exhibition rooms, where two of them can be seen 700 works by Soto. You can also see a hundred other world-renowned artists.

You can see works of artistic trends such as: structuralism, neoplasticism, optical art, kinetic art, monochrome art, geometric art and concrete art, among others.

Some of the museum's works try to make the spectator part of the artistic proposals, such as the penetrable ones by Maestro Soto and the mobile metal structures, when detecting the presence of visitors, vary their shapes. The museum receives an average of 40,000 visitors per year.
