Johel Orta: Dialogue is essential to achieve political peace

“The need for dialogue is fundamental to achieve what we have heard from you from President Delcy Rodríguez: political, economic and social peace. Now, for this purpose, there is a route drawn that has to do with the transformation of the justice system in Venezuela (...) because in a democracy, if there is no justice, there is no peace. And if there is no peace, there can be no democracy,” said the political analyst, Johel Orta, during an interview with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

On the other hand, referring to the negative effects of political polarization, she explained that “the extremes are very similar and are bad from side to side; that is precisely what Dr. Rodríguez referred to.”

“All opinion studies maintain that 80% of Venezuelans are not in extremes, we do not believe or militate in extremes,” emphasized the opponent.

Finally, the analyst noted that Venezuela is moving towards economic balance and political dialogue through its relations with the United Kingdom and various countries in the international energy field.

Dialogue is vital for us to enter into globality. “The agreements with the United Kingdom are important because they will facilitate the delivery of resources from Venezuela to those countries, and this opens up relations with more countries in Europe,” he concluded.
