The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported that in Greater Caracas, Miranda state and Libertador municipality, 50 temporary camps have been established for the care of people affected by earthquakes.

Rodríguez indicated that 15 large shelters operate in La Guaira, in addition to two additional shelters and others on a smaller scale in schools and equipped institutions. He added that 90% of the electricity service in the state has been restored.

In terms of health, he explained that 12,402 people have received medical attention. Of these, 527 were transferred to Caracas, 4. One thousand 93 attended directly in La Guaira and 7,274 in the installed triages.

Rodríguez specified that 75,238 families have received hydration, nutrition and psychological support. He reported that 7,237,000 kilos of food have been distributed and 22,478 bags have been delivered directly to La Guaira.

Regarding international support, he noted the presence of 3,319 foreign rescuers, 45 delegations, 140 search dogs, 39 support vehicles and 707,063 tons of mobilized humanitarian aid.

Rodríguez stated that this balance corresponds to the national and international deployment activated for the care of the affected population.
