The members of the commission for national dialogue, both from the National Government and from the opposition, will hold a face-to-face meeting next week with the intention of talking about caring for the victims of the double earthquake, the strengthening of democracy and political rights and guarantees.

This was reported by the coordinator of the dialogue for the National Government, Jorge Rodríguez, through a statement published on his Telegram channel, where he explained that the above-mentioned meeting was agreed after a telephone contact he had with Dinorah Figuera as a representative of the Venezuelan opposition, for the purpose of initiating a process of inclusive and effective political dialogue for the benefit of the country and of Venezuelan women and to join forces in the care of the victims of the double earthquake of last June 24.

“In that conversation, we shared the composition of the working delegations and agreed to the first face-to-face meeting in Caracas next week. We have also established a work agenda with clear and verifiable goals,” he said.

In addition, the president of the National Assembly, said that the meeting will be attended, as representatives of the Bolivarian Government, by Jorge Rodríguez, as coordinator, Ana María San Juan, Jorge Arreaza, América Pérez, Genesis Garvett and Pedro Infante.
