Jorge Rodríguez: National and international rescuers continue their work to save lives

This Tuesday, June 30, the president of
the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted that national and international rescue brigades are continuing their search and rescue efforts in the
areas of the country most affected by earthquakes.
“Our brothers from the
international brigades are still in the field in the process of searching
for people to save their lives,” he said, noting that in the country there are 51 international
delegations with 3,660 foreign rescuers, 148 canine
units, 49 support vehicles.
He also indicated that
international delegations have also provided a total of 707 thousand tons of humanitarian aid.
As for Venezuelan and Venezuelan troops, he stressed that “a total of 26,121 personnel are currently in disaster zones, especially in La Guaira.”
