This Friday, November 6, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, assured that “the strength of the commune is unstoppable.”

This was stated from the municipality of Bruzual, in the state of Yaracuy, where a communal meeting was held and added that “Communal Power is not a concept, it's not abstract or unreal: It's true! (...) This court and the headquarters of Social Security, the electrification of the highlands, bringing water to the community is the expression of communal power and true democracy in the consultations that have been taking place in the country.”

He explained that the communes of this municipality have come first in all the popular consultations that have been carried out in the country and as a result, “they have won an award and that is the commitment of the AN to complete the two projects that are unfinished in this territory.”

Rodríguez added that “communal strength is constructive, of peace, of encounter, of solidarity, generosity and of helping us.”

He also announced that he will manage before the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, the realization of 10 projects (in addition to the winners in the National Popular Consultation) for that commune. “We are going to achieve it together with you so that we can see more and more the strength and organization of the People of Venezuela and also serve as an example for the other communes of the country.”
