Jorge Rodríguez: We have treated 80,870 families affected after the earthquakes

This Tuesday, June 30 , the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported that the Bolivarian Government has served a total of 80,870 families that have been affected by the earthquakes recorded in the national territory last Wednesday.

In this regard, he indicated that from a psychological point of view they have been working through the number 0800-AYUDA01. “Of all the calls received, 410 calls, 39% correspond to severe cases of psychological and psychiatric involvement,” he said.

He also clarified that after the natural catastrophe that the country experienced, it is normal for people to experience mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, anguish, sadness, grief, insomnia, confusion and lethargy.

“These are the natural consequences, from the point of view of the central nervous system, of someone who has survived a calamity of this magnitude,” he said.
