On June 29, 1821, El Libertador Simón Bolívar arrived triumphant in Caracas, after 5 days of the triumph of the Battle of Carabobo against the royalists.
After 7 years of not being in his hometown, El Libertador united with the people of Caracas full of joy for the victory that sealed the defeat of the Spanish yoke.
The triumphant entry of Bolivar into Caracas shows the Patriot Army's control of power, as the Realist Army was trapped in Maracaibo and Puerto Cabello.
In addition, it meant a great geopolitical strategy of the Father of the Fatherland, a vision that goes much further by undertaking the liberation campaign of the South, the Ayacucho and Pichincha Battles and the consolidation of the Bolivarian emancipatory project.
