The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation (MPPT) and the Government of Carabobo, through the entity's Highway Institute (INVIALCA), announced 100% of the operation of the La Cabrera viaduct on the Regional Highway of the Center.

According to the publication of Venezolana de Televisión, an inspection was carried out in the area that made it possible to verify that the section is operational on its north and south runways; and structurally suitable for the transit of private and heavy-duty vehicles.

“The diagnosis was developed using land approach modalities with a detailed inspection of the upper and lower part of the north runway (direction Caracas-Valencia) and the southern runway, as well as the lake road where the foundations and piles submerged in Lake Valencia were evaluated.”

For this oversight, the multidisciplinary technical commission was activated, which in an articulated manner included the participation of the regional engineering team of Carabobo, the Presidential Technical Commission of the Ministry of People's Power for Transport and specialists from the scientific delegation of the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services.
