With a rich sports and cultural program, Maracay, the capital of the state of Aragua, celebrates 325 years of its founding hand in hand with the local government.
The program will formally begin at 10:00am with the traditional descent of the Patron Saint Joseph and a solemn mass at the Cathedral of Maracay, which will be officiated by Monsignor Enrique Parravano.
Later, the cultural and sports agenda will take to the streets of the city. At noon, the “Open Vault” exhibition will open at the Maracay Art Gallery, followed by a Maracay Tour at 4:00pm and a Dance Therapy session in the town hall square at 5:00pm.
The closing of the celebration will be a musical display that will begin at 6:00pm with the Aragua Symphony Orchestra in the Concha Acústica de Las Delicias, culminating at 8:00pm with an intimate Acoustic Sonata in the historic Casa de los Arcos, a regional press release detailed.
