Medical care and therapies remain active in temporary camps in Caracas

The health brigades of the Ministry of Health are keeping comprehensive medical care days active in the transitory camps of Caracas, where they provide preventive evaluation, monitoring of health conditions and attention to basic medical requirements to families affected by the seismic contingency.

According to information from the ministry replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency, the deployment includes actions for the prevention and early detection of communicable diseases, as well as the evaluation of possible health effects among people sheltered in these temporary spaces.

In addition, health teams provide psychosocial support and therapies aimed at addressing the emotional consequences associated with the seismic event, as part of comprehensive care for communities.

As part of this deployment, the Deputy Minister of Integral Health, Rosalbina Hurtado, supervised care in the camps to verify the functioning of the brigades and the application of established protocols.

During the approach, actions aimed at ensuring the continuity of health services and medical monitoring of families while they remain in the camps were also evaluated.
