Meléndez: 171 work fronts remain active to address buildings affected by earthquakes

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the Venezuela Renace Plan maintains 171 active work fronts in the 22 parishes of the city, to serve buildings and spaces affected by the seismic activity of June 24.

Meléndez explained, during an assessment carried out at the Caracas Command Post, that San Bernardino has 29 fronts, Sucre with 27, January 23 with 18, San Pedro with 13 and Santa Teresa with 13, among other parishes.

He pointed out that the entities of the Mayor's Office of Caracas work daily together with the Community Reconstruction Brigades and government institutions that serve public services, in a single effort.
