Minister Alvarado inspected the Dr. José Antonio Vargas General Hospital in Aragua

The Minister of Popular Power for Health, Carlos Alvarado, carried out a technical inspection at the facilities of the Dr. José Antonio Vargas Regional General Hospital (IVSS), located in Palo Negro, Libertador municipality in the state of Aragua.

During the tour, the minister held a direct dialogue with medical, nursing and worker personnel to verify the quality of the care service provided to users and meet the institution's operational requirements.

In addition, the visit included a review of the physical conditions of the medical facility with the purpose of coordinating actions aimed at optimizing spaces and consolidating a decent environment for treating local patients.

In this regard, Alvarado indicated that the National Government will not rest “until it consolidates a health system that is 100% operational, humanistic, efficient and open-door in every corner of our country.”

These oversight tasks are part of the policies to strengthen the National Public Health System (SPNS) promoted by the National Government, aimed at ensuring efficiency and continuous operation in hospitals in the national public network.
