Minister Cabello: More than 228,000 people will be deployed to protect the people at Carnavales

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, specified that as part of the Secure Carnival Deployment 2026, a total of 228,000 people from security agencies will be around the country to provide protection and care to the people.

“228,028 people are going to be deployed across the country, who might be enjoying it too, but they understand that their job is to spend those days taking care of the rest of Venezuelans, giving them attention and support,” he said from Falcón state.

He also indicated that 3,750 vehicles, 11,040 motorcycles, 1,348 bicycles and 470 special fire and rescue vehicles will also be deployed, at the command of the seasoners.

At the same time, he called for caution with forest fires and not to leave garbage in the places visited. “If you go to a beach, a park, etc., pick up your garbage, don't leave anything there that wasn't before, because that's part of the cultural model that we've been fighting against for a long time,” he said.

He also indicated that 556 ambulances, 71 totally free cranes and seven aircraft, including helicopters and planes, in addition to 134 boats, will also be available throughout the country to deal with any emergency.

He took the opportunity to call on owners who use boats, stating that they can use them without any problems, but without abuse or abuse of the people.
