Minister Cabello: More than 4,100 service providers participate in tourism training programs

More than 4,100 people are participating in tourism training programs while rehabilitation work progresses on the beaches affected by the earthquake of last June 24, said the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello.

This was stated during an inspection in Playa Coral, Caraballeda parish, together with the governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán.

In this regard, Cabello explained that service providers alternate reconstruction work with quality care and environmental awareness courses, developed together with the Ministry for Tourism (MINTUR) and the National University of Tourism (UNATUR).

He specified that more than 1,400 people participate in the central axis alone and added that the objective of the program is to accompany the recovery of infrastructure with the establishment of international service standards for the reopening of spas.

For his part, Terán, on his account on the social network Instagram, noted that “together with our Minister of Tourism, Daniella Cabello, and with the guidance of President Delcy Rodríguez, this achievement is the fruit of the popular organization of men and women who build a more beautiful, inclusive and dignified version for Venezuelan families and those who visit us from the rest of the world.”

“In addition, this intervention is reinforced by sponsorship with entities of the National Government with a view to making them more beautiful than before. The beaches of La Guaira are reborn and their workers are reborn. La Guaira awaits us with open arms and a renewed heart!” , he assured.
