The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the national government will exercise a zero-tolerance policy against those officials who commit criminal acts against the population.

In a message published through his Telegram channel, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also made this point when referring to the case of officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) who were recorded by the community of La Guaira while trying to steal money from a dilapidated building.

“They know that earlier today there was a complaint from new CICPC officials who were committing immodest, indecent, immoral acts in the tragedy zone, who were identified and immediately expelled from that worthy institution of working men and women,” he said.

In this regard, he reported that the now former officials were brought before the courts to be tried for this fact, which he remarked is “totally intolerant”.

“We will be totally intolerant against those who, wearing their uniform, commit acts against morals, against good morals, and we will be much more severe in the case of a great commotion like this where there are people who want to take advantage of the pain and property of others. We will have zero tolerance for those who somehow stain or dishonor the uniform of our police force,” he said.
