Minister Cabello on the deployment of Carnival 2026: We have more than 228,000 officials serving the People

From the state of Nueva Esparta, where he carried out the adaptation and provision of the 64 Peace Quadrants of the island entity, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, specified that as part of the security deployment of the Carnival of 2026, 28,028 officials from the different police forces, Civil Protection (PC), Firefighters and Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).

In this regard, he specified that to guarantee comprehensive care, civil servants have 3,750 vehicles, 11,400 motorcycles, 1,348 bicycles, as well as special fire and rescue vehicles, 556 ambulances, 71 free cranes, seven aircraft including helicopters and planes.

In addition to this, he indicated that 120,216 emergency medical posts and 3,286 checkpoints have been set up on all roads and highways in the country.

The Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also emphasized his call to the conscience of travelers and tourists to ensure the care of beaches, parks, as well as the protection of life of all Venezuelans who will enjoy this holiday that ends next Tuesday.

“We have to take care of children in swimming pools, we have to take care of them, to emphasize that issue so that we don't have any balances to regret later,” he urged.
