Minister Cabello supervised the Reception Center for Affected Persons at the Maritime University of the Caribbean

The State is preparing accelerated plans for the construction and replacement of housing

The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, inspected the Reception Center for Affected Persons, installed at the Maritime University of the Caribbean, as part of the comprehensive care provided by the Bolivarian Government to families who were victims of the double earthquakes of last June 24.

During the visit, Cabello verified the conditions of accommodation, food, hydration, medical care and support for children, and the elderly.

In this regard, it was verified that affected families receive decent and immediate care; therefore , these centers were equipped with beds, mattresses, showers, food, water, health care, psychological support and care areas for boys and girls.

It should be noted that the State is preparing accelerated plans for the construction and replacement of housing.

So far, 25 Reception Centers for Affected Persons and camps have been installed in different regions of the country: 13 in La Guaira, eight in Caracas, two in Miranda, one in Carabobo and one in Yaracuy.
