Minister Diosdado Cabello: We adapt to 64 Peace Quadrants in Nueva Esparta

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Security, Citizenship and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported that 64 Peace Quadrants were adapted in the state of Nueva Esparta.

“To fulfill here in Nueva Esparta that it has 64 Quadrants of Peace because there are 64 Communes, you think about the number if we divide 64 gives 16 exactly but there are small municipalities that have two Quadrants of Peace, for example, a car that has two, should we leave a car that has two? We didn't leave it,” he explained.

He stressed that the patrols are for the Peace Quadrants assigned to each commune and it is the People's Power that has to ensure the correct use of the units.

“When they see a patrol outside they complain, these units are for the safety of the Community,” he said.

He stressed that security has no political ideology and highlighted the commitment of some sectors of the opposition that work for peace in the country.
