Minister of Defense: FANB checks headquarters, distribution of orders and assignment of tasks

The Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, during the Special Military Exercises this Saturday, asserted that this activity is aimed at strengthening the command, leadership, communications and verification systems of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Bolivarian National Militia.

“We are complying with the instruction given yesterday by the president, Commander in Chief Nicolás Maduro Moros, who ordered an exercise of command, control, communication and checking headquarters for the distribution of orders with the assignment of tasks with the operation as he said of the entire apparatus,” he said.

He added that the General Staff are advisory bodies that will give instructions at the precise moment that the popular will act.

“It is a structure that will control all the Community Militia Units (UCM), the communal circuits and that is why what we are seeing today is their operation,” he reiterated.
