Minister Prado: Communes join the Territorial Defense from the Popular Base

The Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, highlighted the multifaceted nature of the Productive Commune “The Legacy of Chávez”, pointing to it as a model for the integral development of Popular Power in the territory.

Prado emphasized that this commune is simultaneously addressing four essential axes for the Bolivarian model. “Socially Ensuring well-being to its inhabitants; Organizationally: Strengthening the communal structure; Productively: Promoting food sovereignty; Economically: Generating self-management and own resources,” he said.

Minister Prado also stressed the commune's commitment to security and national defense. He noted that the members of “The Legacy of Chávez” have actively joined the Bolivarian National Militia.
