Minister Yván Gil Pinto noted progress in strategic projects in the field of Science

With the objective of consolidating Venezuela's productive and independent development model, the Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Yván Gil Pinto, led an inspection tour of the facilities of the Venezuela+Science Scientific-Technological Park, located in the Altos de Pipe, Miranda state.

During the working day, the holder of the scientific portfolio evaluated the progress of important projects and technologies being developed in the complex, including the agroproductive and health solutions Germina 2, Biodeya, EduQuín, SAGSI and Tera 21, as well as lines of research focused on the control of Citrus HLB.

In addition, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), it inspected the operation of weather stations for environmental monitoring and the capabilities of the 3D printing laboratory dedicated to industrial design and prototyping.

In this regard, Minister Yván Gil Pinto explained that, within the framework of the Venezuela Renace Plan, the management of MINCYT guides applied science to production and the economy, articulating the cutting-edge infrastructure and the technical capacity of national talent.

He highlighted that the Scientific-Technological+Science Park is a project of the Bolivarian Government where research, science and direct application to industry come together to meet the needs of the people, in correspondence with the vertices of the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán.

“We have seen beautiful projects with a bright future in agribusiness, medicine, aeronautics, mechanics and meteorology. A demonstration of the potential of the knowledge of Venezuelan women and men applied to solving their own problems,” said the minister.
