The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, led a working day in Boca de Aroa, Falcón state, where the Boca de Aroa Comprehensive Training Plan 2026 was activated, aimed at 80 tourism service providers (PST) and organized communities.
The initiative, developed together with the National Institute of Tourism and the National University of Tourism, includes an academic cycle on strategic management, hospitality, social economy and the design of tourist routes, with the purpose of strengthening attention to residents and visitors.
During the day,
actions were also promoted for the conservation of marine and coastal areas, with the
participation of communities, service providers, boaters, visitors and productive
sectors, within the framework of World Beach Day.
As part of these activities, the Fish Your Plastic
initiative, promoted by the Ministry of
Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, made it possible to collect two tons of
waste in Boca de Aroa, of which 25% were plastic materials.
It is important to highlight that these actions
seek to promote sustainable and regenerative tourism practices and to strengthen the
protection of ecosystems.
