Ministry of Health and CAF evaluate strategic alliances to strengthen healthcare system

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS) and representatives of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) held an institutional working table at the headquarters of the ministry in Caracas, to review existing cooperation agreements and define new lines of action for the public health system.
The day was led by the minister, Carlos Alvarado, and the CAF delegate, Andrea Rousset, who analyzed the impact of joint projects on the country's healthcare network.
The meeting addressed plans aimed at optimizing medical care and strengthening healthcare infrastructure at a national level.
This type of alliance seeks to energize the management of technical and institutional resources to respond efficiently to the priority demands of communities. The authorities aim to consolidate operational capacities at different levels of care.
