More than 1,000 soldiers from the Presidential Honor Guard and the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGSIM), belonging to the September 2025 contingent, were sworn in this Saturday.

The activity was led by the general commander of the Presidential Honor Guard, M/G Javier Marcano Tábata, who stressed that among the troop personnel who swear allegiance to our Homeland, our Constitution and the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, there are 300 women and 700 men.

From Fort Tiuna, in Caracas, the senior military officer emphasized that 60% of its members are studying at university in this contingent. “In this group there are 50 women who are mothers and 120 men are fathers,” she said.

In the same way, Marcano Tábata highlighted the high preparation of Venezuelan soldiers and their willingness to defend, from any space, our independence and sovereignty.
